Amprobe AMB-45 Digital Megohmmeter & Insulation Meter

This combination Amprobe instrument tests the insulation of wires, cables, transformers and electrical motors. It features selectable test voltages up to 1000 V and a programmable timer to perform the Dielectric Absorption Ratio Test. Use the sensitive ohmmeter for checking resistance of motor windings. Also includes built-in voltmeter.

Fast and easy to use, the AMB-45 has a rugged, durable design. Measuring functions include ac V, dc V, low ohms, continuity, MΩ and data capture. It features 4000-record recording length and internal memory to store measurements for future reference. The included software allows data download to a PC. It works with 98/NT4.0/2000/ME/XP operating systems.

The AMB-45's large 70 x 46 mm LCD has a 60-segment analog bar indicator. For over-range indication, OL will be shown on the LCD panel when an out-of-range measurement is made. Sampling rates are 2.5 times per second for the digital display and 10 times per second for the bar graph. Includes auto power off after 30 minutes and low-battery indication. Safety rating: CAT III 600 V.

Includes test leads, large jaw alligator clips, PC software, RS-232 cable, eight 1.5-V AA batteries and instruction manual in a carrying case. This 1.65-pound unit measures 9" x 4.6" x 2.4". One-year warranty.
