Amprobe AT-3500 Underground Pipe / Cable Locator System

Keep productivity high and operational costs low, with the AT-3500. It is the rugged, economical solution for locating underground energized and de-energized wires, cables and pipes. The AT-3500 underground cable and pipe locator system employs the proven 33 kHz frequency for most locating applications. It offers the highly sensitive power and radio modes, exceptionally fast sound and meter response and takes depth measurements with the press of a button. Its backlight multiple-segment bar-graph, digital display and audible indicators show and tell. And the 0.1/0.5 watt switchable testing signal gives depth measurements to 16'.

The unit has three testing modes for best accuracy. Passive Power Mode (50 and 60 Hz) traces energized lines conducting current. Passive Radio Mode (RF) uses surrounding radio waves to trace underground objects. Active Mode utilizes the T-3500 signal generator with a 33 kHz active frequency, the best frequency for general locating. Use induction mode or directly connect to the cable with test leads or optional clamp.

Includes receiver, transmitter, connection cable, ground stake and ground cable. The 5.5-pound receiver measures 26" x 4" x 10" and runs up to 40 hours. The 3.75-pound transmitter measures 10.25" x 10" x 5.5" and runs up to 40 hours.
