Burndy's high-speed (HS) Y500CTHS tool is ideal for the electrical contractor and maintenance markets. This L'IL CRIMP™ 6-Ton Hydraulic Crimper is faster and more efficient than its predecessor. The extremely lightweight, easy-to-use tool requires only seven strokes to advance the ram prior to crimping a lug. In addition, a trigger drain on the handle makes ram retraction much easier. With a stainless steel latch head that rotates 180° for trouble-free crimping, this tool allows installers to work in tighter areas commonly found on the job. With a permanent "D3" die groove, the L'IL CRIMP tool uses "W" series dies and features a wire range capacity of #8 AWG through 500-kcmil copper. This 6-pound tool measures 15.1" x 5.4".
