The perfect helper for installing drop cable, the 304X210 4375 Carpet Cutter and Drill Guide bores a clean hole in a carpet and serves as a drillbit guide to prevent carpet snags and snowballs while drilling through underlying wood flooring. One-hand tool operation produces precision cuts quickly and easily without the use of a hammer. It prevents snags and pulls, eliminating the risk of damage to customers' property. Because the tool cuts carpet and padding cleanly, it doesn't leave any loose strands that could result in the dreaded snowball effect, the creation of a ball of fiber at the end of the drill. Replaceable carpet plugs ensure a perfect fit should the drop location change.
The knurled ergonomic handle improves grip and performance. This tool's serrated blade is made from hardened steel for long life, and a safety cap protects the blade when not in use. The 304X210 4375 with 3/8" hole size includes blade with plastic cap and hex key.
