A handheld tester for CATV, A/V, security systems and other coax cable systems, the CT100 COAXtracker Coax Mapper (which includes four remotes) is now available through Specialized Products Company (SPC). The SPC-manufactured cable tester, designed to quickly troubleshoot coax cable runs up to 3,000 feet, comes complete with four color-coded F-type attenuators (remotes), four BNC adapters, an F to BNC adapter, built-in tone generator and 6V battery.
CT100 COAXtracker and Coax Mapper features include:
- Displays PASS, OPEN or SHORT indications with simple one button operation.
- Maps up to four individual coax runs back to a central bundle.
- Tests multi-run cables (F connector type).
- Compatible with Belden coax cable types: 8259, 9310, 9259, 8241A and 9275.
- Built-in tone generator sends tone/signal through each cable run.
