FSM-18R AFL Fusion Splicer Kit w/ Cleaver, Stripper and Battery

Model S014561 is a Fujikura FSM-18R Four-Fiber Ribbon Fusion Splicer Kit with CT-30 cleaver, HJS-02 hot jacket stripper, BTR-08 battery and DCC-14 battery charge cord. It has similar versatility and robust nature of the Fujikura 12-fiber ribbon splicer. Well-suited for FTTx or LAN applications, this system can splice up to four fibers and single fibers. Enhanced robust features provide resistance to shock, dust and rain to minimize downtime and improve operational performance. Wind protection allows use in 34-mph winds. It withstands a 30" drop test.
Automated features such as auto-start splicing, auto-start tube heater operation, automatic ribbon fiber identification and auto-arc calibration reduce operational steps and improve splicing performance. Additional improvements include automatic image orientation when switching the dual-position monitor, large capacity battery option and the ability to charge the battery during splicer operation. This splicer has dual cameras and a 4.1" TFT color LCD monitor with anti-reflective coating for excellent visibility in bright sunlight.
The included software provides the ability to download splice data to a PC for reporting, download splicer operating software via the internet to maintain peak performance and download video images from the splicer to enhance technical support.
