To trace, it provides advanced tone generation and tracing including three different sounds with the ability to trace coax wires through splitters. Also perform outlet identification and active network Ethernet verification through DHCP and ping to verify network connectivity and ensure server connections are functioning properly. The main tester's backlit transflective two-line by 16-character LCD with custom icons displays results. Use the remote for tracing, cable testing and tone tracing with listen-only POTS test set capability. It features a probe for voltage, a coil for current and a combination of both tracing modes.
