The Noyes Fiber OLS7-3 Triple Wavelength Singlemode Laser Source is designed to be used in conjunction with an optical power meter to perform insertion loss measurements on singlemode fiber optic links. This laser source can also be paired with a optical fiber identifier and used in fiber identification. The OLS7-3 is capable of operating at the 1310, 1550, and 1625 nm wavelengths and can transmit waves through one of these three Wave ID wavelengths, CW, and Tone with the following frequencies: 270 Hz, 330 Hz, 4 Hz, or 2kHz. The OLS7-3's triple wavelength sequence in particular allows it to be compatible with a variety of single-mode applications, such as Telecom or CATV.
