Singlemode Variable Attenuator intended for use in installation field testing and other maintenance testing. The SVA 1 is simple to use and contains only two settings, Coarse and Fine, that make it suited for a variety of singlemode applications across the 60 dB range dynamic range including LANs, WANs, and CATV applications. The SVA 1 also operates at 1310 and 1550 nm wavelengths and offers bidirectional transmission of signals while keeping insertion loss low.
