Photonix Technologies' PX-G101 Voicelink™ Fiber Optic Talk Sets provide the technician with a quick and simple voice communication link over a single fiber. Designed to be the most rugged, low-cost solutions on the market, they allow communication when conventional phone access isn't possible. With a remote speaker/mic used by law enforcement agencies everywhere, these units are powered by standard 9-volt batteries.
PX-G101 is the multimode/singlemode version designed for telco/CATV/LAN uses. It provides voice communication during construction or maintenance. Dynamic range is 30 dB over singlemode and 8 dB typical into 62.5/125-µm fiber using 1310-nm laser wavelength. Includes two base units with handsets, batteries and instruction guide in a hard-sided waterproof carrying case.
