Psiber LanMaster 25 Ethernet Tester / Network Link Tester

LANMaster™ 25 adds three extra features to its detection and display capabilities so LAN installers and maintainers can test Fast Ethernet (100BASE-TX) and Standard Ethernet (10BASE-T) links quickly. (Not for use with 100BASE-T4 equipment.) It includes a transmit mode that generates a link activation signal and a tone signal generator for use with a tone probe. Also use this tester to identify the type of link signal used by the far-end equipment, verify active link continuity and equipment configuration plus generate a tone to signal for tracing cables. In addition, the LANMaster 25 transmits link signals to identify hub/switch port connections to a wall outlet. Simply connect it into the user's wallplate, turn it on, and go to the hub or switch closet. The link light on the hub port where the user is connected will blink in sequence, identifying the port in seconds without the ambiguity of other methods.
Knowing equipment capabilities is essential to optimizing network performance. In just three seconds the LANMaster 25 decodes the link signals and displays the exact configuration of the equipment connected to the link. It also verifies link connectivity to the far end, tests for reported faults and determines polarity of the outlet or cable.
