Thomas and Betts makes the TBM25S (same as the TBM21E) color-keyed mechanical compression tool for crimping copper and aluminum lugs and splices, C-Taps and pigtails. Install #8 AWG -#2 AWG copper and #10 AWG - #6 AWG aluminum connectors, and #12 AWG - #3 AWG C-Tap combinations. Rotating die wheel holds five color-coded die nests - RED/BLUE/GRAY/BROWN/GREEN, whose codes are automatically embossed on the crimped connector. Features Shure-Stake ratchet and ergonomic design.
