The TrueConect TC100 RJ11, RJ12 and RJ45 Crimp Tool features a durable design and smooth ratcheting crimp cycle to ensure complete and precise modular connector crimping. Deluxe Modular crimper features a dedicated crimp cavity for RJ11/12 and one for Cat5, Cat5e & Cat6 RJ45 connectors. A built-in wire cutter and wire stripper for 6-and 8-conductor flat or round cables provides the flexibility to cut, strip and crimp all standard modular plugs and strain reliefs with one crimp tool. Low profile, ergonomic cushion grip handles provide installers with comfort and ease of use when making multiple telephone connector terminations.

RJ-Type modular plugs have been the industry-standard method of cable connection for voice POTS, data and more recently high-speed video networks. TrueConect’s portfolio of RJ-Type Connectors includes legacy Cat5, standard Cat5e plus the newer Gigabit Ethernet compliant Cat6 RJ45 Connectors. Manufactured of premium components, these modular plugs provide unparalleled performance at a fraction of the cost of the competition.
Modular plugs are typically made of clear plastic and have gold plated contacts of varying thickness - 15µm, 30µm or 50µm (microns). Contacts with the thinner 15µm and 30µm gold plating that is not polished come at a large trade-off between low cost vs. high quality requirements. The thinner gold-plated contacts often begin to show early signs of wear and tear in insertion and pulling life-cycle testing. All of TrueConect’s Cat5, Cat5e and Cat6 RJ45 connectors feature factory-polished contacts with the highest quality 50µm gold plating making them the ideal choice for high speed data transmissions. Proprietary gold deposition technology produces consistent, accurate and ultra-smooth contact surfaces for better conductivity and lower resistant forces for better signal carrying capabilities. Each contact of each modular plug has three offset insulation displacement points for 40% more surface area that is inserted into each conductor at termination. More contact area assures a better connection and better overall conductivity over the long run. Thus the life span of the connector is superior to any other design. Durable thermoplastic housings of these modular plugs, allow for visual verification of wiring configurations. TrueConect’s inexpensive yet high quality RJ45 connectors are available to support both shielded and unshielded cable. TrueConect RJ45 Strain Relief Boots
TrueConect RJ45 strain relief boots are designed to keep the release tabs of RJ45 connectors from snapping off or snagging, as well as to maintain the bend radius of cables ensuring peak performance levels. TrueConect offers RJ45 strain relief boots in Snagless and Snagless Full. Snagless full PVC RJ45 strain relief boots will slide onto cables prior to termination. Once the cables are terminated, they slide into place around each individual RJ45 connector. A PVC + ABS snagless RJ45 strain relief, however, is crimped simultaneously with the RJ45 connector that is being terminated. The secondary crimping action, of an RJ45 crimp tool, will make the RJ45 strain relief boot a permanent part of the connection. Both RJ45 strain relief boots are available in a variety of colors to match your cable colors or to assist in organizing network cables. |

RJ12 Connectors
TrueConect RJ12 connectors are 6-position 6-conductor modular plugs designed for use in large telephone systems with twisted pair cables. These connectors contain two more pins than a standard RJ11 connector and allow the RJ12 to connect two additional lines. This unique feature of these connectors makes it easier to connect telephone networks such as PBX systems. TrueConect offers plugs that are meant to be used with round/solid or flat/stranded cables and are sold in packages of either 100 or 1000.
RJ22 Connectors
TrueConect RJ22 connectors are standard 4- position 4-conductor modular plugs designed for telephone handsets using twisted pair cables. RJ22 connectors are mainly employed to connect two parts of a telephone, namely the handset to the dialing mechanism. These connectors are not meant to connect to actual telephone service lines and will not fit into normal telephone jacks such as those intended for RJ11 or RJ12 connectors.
