The Weller® WR3M High-End Rework Station is designed to operate three tools at a time. Specifications include: power supply voltage (120 V ac, 60 Hz), power consumption (400 W), EOS/ESD properties (static-free tool handles, cordsets and air flow), fuse (4 A), temperature control range (variable in 1° increments from 150° F to 999° F), controllable temperature range (tool dependent), temperature accuracy (± 17° F, average tip temperature can be offset ± 9° F at idle with no load), temperature stability (± 9° F), hot-air/vacuum pump (duty cycle: 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off; max vacuum: 0.7 bar, max delivery rate: 18 l/min, hot air: max 15 l/min) and vacuum pick-up pump (duty cycle: 60 seconds on, 30 seconds off; max vacuum: 0.5 bar, max delivery rate: 1.7 l/min).
This station includes a variety of Weller tools and accessories for even greater flexibility. The HAP200, 200-watt/24-volt Hot-Air Pencil provides a directional hot airflow that's adjustable and static free. It's electronically temperature controlled from 150° F to 999° F. A finger switch controls the adjustable pump. You also get a WDH30 Safety Rest for this pencil. The DXV80 Desoldering Iron may be connected to all 80-watt desoldering stations. Handle's replaceable solder collector holds extracted solder. Store tool on safety rest.
The 80-W WP80 Micro Soldering Pencil persuades with its short tip-to-grip design. It's a big advantage for work under microscopes. Distance from grip to tip is only 40 mm. Safety rest with Stop+Go function has an integrated micro switch that's activated when you pick up or put down the soldering iron. You may choose immediate or delayed (20-minute) temperature reduction (setback) to 150° C (300° F) and program the power unit accordingly.
SMD components may be moved easily and safely with the WVP Vacuum Pick-up. The housing is antistatic, and the vacuum nipples come in two sizes. You may connect the desoldering system to the WR3M's additional vacuum channel (pick-up). Model WDC2 Dry Cleaner features a soft solution for cleaning lead-free solder with metal wool. Use it with the included WDH safety rests.
