Y750CHSXT Burndy Hand Operated Hydraulic Crimper, 12-Ton

Burndy's Type Y750-2HS Revolver Hypress™ is a hand-operated 12-Ton Insulated Hydraulic Crimping Tool. It covers a wide range of compression applications with a lightweight, self-contained system and a C-shaped, hook-style head with a 1.65" opening. Its 355° head rotation simplifies tool positioning, and removal is easy from continuous conductors. A patented rapid-advance pump provides faster crimps. with easy tapping, splicing and terminating of overhead hot and de-energized lines.
This tool features handle trigger drain for convenient ram retraction. Quality assurance is provided with an audible pop-off pressure relief valve. Exposed die lock buttons allow for easy die change out and retention.
Burndy's Hypress develops a compression force of 12 tons. Operating pressure is 10,000 psi. Conductor range is #8-750 kcmil aluminum and copper plus #4-556.5 kcmil ACSR. Use it with the full range of HYGROUND compression grounding system connectors, NEC cable connections and N30-N650 Navy cable applications.
This long-lasting tool has a rubber-covered head and handles for impact protection. Comfort-grip handles help ease operator fatigue with continuous use.
Y750-2HS comes in a high-impact plastic carrying case. U dies must be ordered separately. This 14.5-pound tool measures 23.5" long and 8" wide with a 1.65" jaw opening. Two-year limited warranty.
