KNIPEX 9518200 SBA Insulated Cable Shears w/Twin Cut Edge, 8"

The KNIPEX® 95 18 200 SBA 8" Cable Shears are designed with 2 profiles (front and rear) for cutting copper and aluminum cables up to 20mm in diameter. The front cutting edge is used for an initial cut through the insulating sheath on larger cable diameters. A final cut is performed in the rear profile, where the conductors are cut. The tool features VDE-tested handles, insulated with multi-component covers. Made of high-grade special tool steel, forged, and oil-hardened, the cable shears have precision-ground, hardened blades, and an adjustable bolted joint, self-retaining screw. A pinch guard prevents injuries.

The cutting tool is 8" long and weighs 0.8 lb. It is tested to 1000V and meets ASTM F1505-07 and DIN EN/IEC 60900 standards.

Note: This tool is NOT suitable for steel wire and hard drawn copper conductors.
