Cementex P9CC-LR Insulated Cable Cutter with Ring, 9"

Cementex P9CC-LR High Voltage Double-Insulated Cable Cutter is tested to 10,000 volts and rated for use up to 1000 volts AC and 1500 volts DC. This high leverage cable cutter with shear type blades cuts 100 pair telephone cable, stranded and flexible 2/0 copper and 4/0 aluminum cable. It features a safety ring, built in safety release in all cutting positions, locking mechanism for safe transport, induction hardened cutting edges for long life and high-visibility ergonomic comfort-grip handles. By using the safety ring, attached to the cutter blade, you can make sure that the cable you have in hand is correct and not a live power line. Simply slide the ring cutter down the cable to your specified cutting point for accurate cable identification.
