NEW AFL OPTIPOP-R™ cassette-type cleaners

The OPTIPOP-R is the leading cassette (or reel) style fiber optic connector cleaner on the market. There are four refillable OPTIPOP-R models, each providing more than 400 cleans per tape. The OPTIPOP-R1 is appropriate for all 1.25 mm and 2.5 mm single-ferrule connectors as well as multi-fiber connectors without guide pins, including female MPO/MTP® and MT-RJ connectors. The OPTIPOP-R2, with its two tape exposure slots, is perfect for duplex MU and LC connectors. The OPTIPOP-R3 has a pad beneath the cleaning tape to support male MPO/MTP connectors with guide pins, and the OPTIPOP-R4 has a pad beneath the cleaning tape to support male MT-RJ connectors with guide pins. Replacement tape reels are available in either single unit or six unit quantities, with a cost per clean below $0.07 USD.
