AFL DFS-00-04XU Digital FiberScope PC/UPC Inspect Kit
The AFL DFS-00-04XU Digital FiberScope Inspection Kit is designed to inspect fiber end-faces when installing or maintaining fiber optic cable and PC/UPC connectors. It delivers images via a USB port to M-series OTDRs - M200, M700 - or C-series OTDRs and certification testers - C840, C850, C860, C880. SimpleView™ Fiber Inspection Software permits the Digital FiberScope to be used with Windows® XP or Windows® 7 computers.
This fiber inspection kit includes various adapter tips, bulkhead adapters, connector cleaners and carrying case.
The AFL Noyes DFS-00-04XU PC/UPC Inspection kit essentially enhances the versatile testing ability of the Noyes DFS1. The kit itself contains a variety of adapters and adapter tips that allow the FiberScope to be used with multiple types of devices.
The Digital FiberScope is utilized primarily in the inspection of fiber optic connector end-faces during maintenance and installation. It allows users to view fiber end-faces and capture magnified images than can be uploaded to Noyes OTDRs via USB. This handheld device also features easy-to-use controls, power supplied by USB port, and electronic video inspection to prevent any form of eye damage.
