Jonard VFL-150 Visual Fault Locator Kit, VFL for 2.5mm & 1.25mm

The Jonard Tools® VFL-150 Kit with the pen-style visual fault locator is designed for fiber optic testing, fiber tracing and routing, continuity testing, fiber optic cable breakpoints and locating poor connections. This Class IIIA laser-powered 650nm visual fault finder works in an OTDR dead zone. It identifies faults in fiber up to 3 miles long, operating in continuous wave (CW), flashing (pulsed) and slower pulse mode. The working temperature for this unit is from -4°F (-20°C) to +140°F (+60°C). Jonard cable fault locator is compatible with 2.5mm universal and 1.25mm connectors. It offers a long battery life of 60 hours of continuous use.

The Jonard VFL-150 Kit includes the visual fault locator (VFL-25), 2x AAA batteries and FC/LC adapter (VFL-25125). Manufacturer's warning: NOT recommended for use on dark colored or armored cables.
