A standard for labeling face plates with telephone, FAX and network symbols plus identification numbers for 10 years, P-touch® laminated labels are selected for their high quality and durability. Brother industrial labels are designed for slippery and textured surfaces. They have a more aggressive adhesive that sticks better to patch panels, hubs, routers, 10/100 switches and 110 blocks. After pulling and testing CAT 5 and fiber cables, industrial tapes also can be used to make flag labels. They're tested to withstand harsh environments like temperature extremes, direct sunlight, rain, snow and high humidity. The result is tough, durable labels with superb adhesive strength that are resilient to just about anything inside or out.

Laminated tapes consist of six layers of materials, resulting in thin yet extremely strong labels. Characters formed with thermal transfer ink are printed onto the underside of the laminate surface. Sandwiched between two layers of polyethylene film, the type is virtually indestructible. The 50-mm top lamination protects the ink from hazards found in industrial environments like abrasion, chemicals, oil, water, fading and even rough handling.
