Tempo 200XP Multifilter Tone Probe

The Tempo Communications 200XP Multi-Filter Tone Probe is used with a tone generator for noise-immune pair-tracing. One-handed, battery-powered inductive amplifier with single-button operation and continuous volume control assures accurate, high-sensitivity tone detection. It identifies and traces wires within a group without damaging insulation. Connect the tone tracer lead to subject wire and other test lead to earth or equipment ground. Turn on the tone probe and touch tip to insulation of each suspect conductor. Tone will be distinctly loudest on subject wire.
