Triplett Byte TVR10/100/1000K LAN Network Tester

The Triplett Byte Brothers TVR10/100/1000K LAN Tester is designed for both the LAN installer and repair person, performs tests that normally require seven different test sets. This multi-functional tester is comprised of a hand-held main unit and a remote probe. It is useful for documenting legacy LANs, installing and/or repairing LANs or adding equipment to existing LANs. Most of the tests are performed by the main unit without the need of the remote probe. These include determining the LAN device type (hub or PC) and the LAN speed (10 or 100 Mbps). By audibly tracing tones in cables with all four pairs, the remote probe adds the ability to trace cable locations. This ensures compatibility with all three types of BASE-T LANs.

The TVR10/100/1000K tester Includes two RJ45-RJ45 jumpers and batteries in a protective pouch. The 1.1-pound unit is 7.5" x 7.5" x 2". One-year warranty.
