Cable Prep SCT-840-ALU TX10 PIII Strip/Core Tool, L-GRAY 0.840"

The Cable Prep® SCT-840-ALU Stripping and Coring Tool in aluminum housing works on 0.840" TX10 and PIII cables. It speeds connectorization by stripping the cable jacket, stripping back, and beveling the outer conductor on hardline cables, plus coring the dielectric - 4 functions in one operation. The tool strips the aluminum sheath without scoring. It features a one-piece blade with perfectly aligned cutting edges and self-aligning guide sleeve. The blade leaves a beveled outer conductor edge that eliminates O-ring damage, minimizing water migration. Recessed threads molded into the tool body allow an easy JCS jacket stripper attachment.

The SCT-840-ALU stripping and coring tool can be operated manually, or having removed the handle, you can use it with a 3/8" variable speed power drill. Color-coded LIGHT GRAY.

The Gator is recommended to bevel and clean the center conductor after a hardline cable has been stripped and cored.
