Ripley Cablematic CST 500-R Coring Stripping Tool, RED .500"
The Ripley Cablematic® CST 500-R is a Ratchet Coring and Stripping Tool for .500" cable. It cores dielectric foam, bevels the aluminum sheath and strips polyethylene jacket of trunk and distribution cable by hand or drill operation. The tool features all metal construction, heat treated spiral-fluted coring bit and sheath cutting blade.
The CST 500-R combination tool has a ratchet T-handle and separate 3/8" (9.5-mm) drill adapter. Color-coded RED for easy cable identification.
The Cablematic CST 500-R Ratchet Coring and Stripping Tool cores and strips in one fast and precise manual or drilling operation. Heat-treated sheath-cutting blade produces a smooth, beveled edge and can be replaced without the expense of replacing the entire coring bit. The tool features rugged, durable, all-metal construction and spiral-fluted, heat-treated steel coring bit. Red cable guide sleeve provides easy cable size identification (500).
Use this tool with CommScope® P1, P3 Cable Guard Cable; TIMES FIBER T4, T6, T10 Cable; and Alcatel Cable Benelux - ACE Cable. The 1.61-pound unit is 6.83" long.
