The barrel of this wire wrap tool is insulated with orange dielectric coating preventing electrical current from entering the tool. This rugged aluminum wrap gun accommodates wrap bits and sleeves ranging from 22-32 AWG.

The JDV™ WG800 Fully Insulated Wire Wrap Tool is a handheld tool that allows technicians to make wire wrap connections on high voltage equipment without the danger of electrocution. This tool has a rugged aluminum housing with an orange dielectric coating around the barrel. The WG800 has a solid collet and nose piece. This design prevents electrical current from travelling through the body of the tool to the user. This device is lightweight, reliable, and durable making it essential for safe testing processes. It meets UL safety requirements and has been tested by a third party laboratory to 3750 V AC under dielectric testing conditions. This tool can accommodate for all size wrap bits or sleeves (18-32 AWG).
