AFL Fiber Ring FC-ST 62.5um Multimode OTDR Launch Cable, 150m
The AFL FR1-M6-150-FC-ST Fiber Ring OTDR Launch Cable features 150 meters of 62.5µm multimode fiber optic cable with FC and ST connectors in a compact rugged ring. This portable and light-weight fiber ring is ideal for testing optical fiber links (up to about 2 km) in premises networks. OTDR testing requires launch and receive test cables to measure the end-to-end loss of fiber optic links.
The FR1-M6-150-FC-ST Noyes Multimode OTDR Fiber Ring contains launch and receive test cables. This optional accessory has a standard, one-fiber configuration with 150 m (492 feet) of FC to ST multimode 62.5µm fiber. The launch cable connects the OTDR to the link under test and reveals the insertion loss plus reflectance of the near-end connection. The receive cable, which is connected to the far-end of the link, reveals the insertion loss and reflectance of the far-end connection.
