Jonard MS-446 Mid Span Slit & Ring Tool, 8.7-14.6mm

The Jonard Tools® MS-446 Slitter and Ring Tool is designed to perform a ring or slit cut on AFL's heavy-duty OSP MicroCore (LMHD-Series) cables and other similar style cables with 8.7 to 14.6 mm diameter jackets. It will remove a thick wall jacket without causing damage to the buffer tubes inside. The MS-446 offers both slitting and ringing blades, 4 precision slitting grooves and 4 ring grooves, marked with the cable size (8.7-9.1mm/ 9.5-9.9mm/ 11.8-12.2mm/ 14.2-14.6mm). The arrow on the top indicates the pulling direction, on the opposite side - rotation, and the line indicates the blade location. Each blade is good for making up to 5,000 slits/cuts.

The MS-446 slit and ring tool measures 4" (101 mm) x 1.5" (38 mm) x 3.1" (79 mm) and weighs 0.54 lb (0.244 kg).
