Jonard AST-200 CableSaber Armored Cable Midspan Slitter 4-28.6mm

The Jonard Tools® AST-200 CableSaber™ Slitter works well on thick-jacketed and armored fiber optic cables to provide a mid-span access of required depth up to 5.5 mm (0.216"), without damaging internal fibers. The cable slitting tool is made of rugged anodized aluminum and steel. It is used on cables 4 mm - 28.6 mm (0.157" - 1.125"). It features a steel blade, adjustable by the thumb screw at the bottom of the tool. It cuts precisely through the toughest materials in slitting or ringing style (longitudinal or radial cuts). The aluminum shaft ensures that the cable guide wheel stays steady and prevents spiraling.
