Jonard TK-184 Fiber Optic Clean and Prep Kit with Cleaver & VFL

The Jonard Tools® TK-184 Fiber Optic Connector Clean and Prep Kit features a fiber stripper, cleaver, visual fault locator and cleaning wipes. It is used to test fiber optic cables for issues and prepare for termination with 1.25 mm and 2.5 mm connectors and bulkhead adapters. The 3-hole stripping tool removes 1.6-3mm fiber jacket down to the 600-900µm buffer coating using the first hole. The second hole strips the 600-900µm buffer coating down to the 250µm coating while the third hole is used to strip the 250µm cable down to the 125µm glass fiber. The fiber cleaver cleaves either 900µm buffered or 250µm coated fiber to prepare fiber for fusion splicing. The VFL will locate fiber optic cables breakpoints and poor connections.

The TK-184 kit also includes a pack of 50 wipes, made with 91% isopropyl alcohol and 9% deionized water. It comes in a rugged PVC coated polyester bag.
