AFL FCP2-VFI4-0900 Fiber Optic Cleaning & Inspection Kit w/VFI4-L
The FCP2-VFI4-0900 Fiber Optic Field Kit combines AFL's popular fiber optic cleaning kit with their VFI4-L visual fiber identifier, used to identify connection issues, sharp bends or breaks in fibers.
The VFI4-L features a 650nm visible red laser source and low power output of 1.0 mW with 4 km range. It can trace single-mode or multimode fibers during activation and installation, as well as check continuity and splices. The 2.5 mm universal adapter accepts PC and angled FC, SC, ST connectors. The 1.25 mm universal adapter accepts LC and MU connectors. Wet and dry-cleaning products are used to effectively clean connectors, maximizing network performance. A cleaning pen for fiber optic connector end-faces and bare fiber removes dirt, dust, oils, and eliminate electrostatic charge.
The kit includes the VFI4-L, One-Click fiber cleaners for SC, ST, FC, LC and MU connectors, FCC2 cleaning fluid, FCC3 Debris Destroyer fiber cleaning pen, FiberWipes, Cletop SB, and a duffle bag.
