Klein Tools VDV526-100 LAN Explorer Data Cable Tester w/Remote

The Klein Tools® VDV526-100 LAN Explorer™ is a simple cable tester with LED indicators, easy-to-use on unpowered twisted pair, voice, data and LAN cables. With a single-button Pass/Fail testing you can quickly troubleshoot RJ11, RJ12 and RJ45 terminated cables and patch cords (CAT3, CAT5e, CAT6/6A and CAT7). The tester detects faults: Miswire, Open and Short. It has an auto power-off and low battery indicator. "Shielded" illuminates when a shielded data cable is properly connected at both ends.

The VDV526-100 tester comes with a Test-n-Map ID remote and 9V battery (providing 80 hours of operation). Compact design allows for storing a test remote in tester body. For INDOOR use only.
