The Specialized Products SPC918 Fiber Optic Tool Kit provides a variety of tools required to prepare optical fibers for cleaving, splicing or connector termination. It offers a 3-hole wire stripping tool, cable sheath stripper with a reversible blade, adjustable for 0.018" or 0.031" thick plastic, rubber or fabric insulation, and two-step coax cable stripper with round and straight blades, adjustable from 1/8" to 7/32". The multi-fiber 0.178"-1.14" round cable stripper is an excellent tool for stripping PE, PVC, and soft rubber jackets. The round outer socket can wrench with 3/8" and 7/16" hex socket ends is used to place fuses in cable terminals, as well as to connect wires to fuses and binding posts. The kit also includes pliers, cable cutters, Phillips and slotted screwdrivers, plus other tools.
