Cable Prep SCPT-6591 Super Drop Cable / Coax Cable Stripper
The Cable Prep® Super SCPT-6591 drop cable stripping tool is specifically designed to remove the cable jacket, cut the braid and dielectric, and expose the center conductor to .25" (6.4mm) minimum on large- and small-diameter braided and braid-replacement cables, all in one smooth operation. Pre-calibrated dimensions for different applications help to ensure that jackets are stripped and braid and dielectric are cut back properly. The new insertion feature provides all the leverage needed to push connectors onto even bulky quad-shield cables. The patented cleanout feature of the Super CPT tool automatically removes excess jacket, braid, and dielectric from the tool after stripping. It retains all the features of the CPT-Series tools.
The SCPT-6591 drop cable stripper holds two cartridges, both the RBC-6590 BLACK (304X610) and RBC-1100 GRAY (304X620), for use on RG6/59 and RG7/11 cable.

The new connector insertion feature of the Super CPT provides all the leverage needed to push the connector onto the cable, eliminating the need for a separate insertion tool. No connector threading and unthreading is required, making insertion a speedy, one-step operation. Simply slip the connector into the appropriate socket (659 or 711) and push the cable into the connector. Sockets support all RG-6, -59, -7, and -11 connectors.
The wide jaws easily accommodate the bulk of large-diameter cables. Made of durable plastic, the lightweight SCPT tool offers consistent, precision performance even under harsh conditions. Slots for holding two different sized cartridges make it convenient to use the SCPT tool when working on multiple cable types. The SCPT body is comfortable to hold and easy to operate with either hand. Because jacket, braid, and dielectric are cut with one simple motion, cables can be prepared quickly and easily. A quick-release mechanism makes changing a cartridge in either slot a quick, easy, and safe operation. Made of the highest quality steel, SCPT blades ensure optimum performance over a long life. Each cartridge can prepare 2,500 - 5,000 cables, depending on braid coverage.
