Jonard FLS-55 MM & SM Light Source, FC/LC/SC Adapters - PC/UPC

The Jonard Tools® FLS-55 Fiber Optic Light Source provides stable 850/1300 nm or 1310/1550 nm wavelengths for multimode or single mode fiber measurements. Adapters directly connect to UPC/PC FC, SC, and LC fiber connectors. The unit features four different modulation outputs (CW, 270 Hz, 1 kHz, 2 kHz). It has a flush button, backlit LCD screen and shatter-resistant sleeve, protecting the light source from accidental damage. This light source is designed for optimal use with the FPM-50A optical power meter (sold separately) or other power meters for measuring optical loss on fiber cable. Note that the LC adapter may have up to 0.3 dB of signal loss. The operating temperature is from 14°F to 140°F.

The FLS-55 includes a fiber optic light source (MM/SM), SC, FC and LC adapters (2 each), 2 cleaning swabs, 3 AA 1.5V alkaline batteries, and a storage pouch.
