Jonard VFL-300 Rugged Visual Fault Locator Kit, FC, SC, ST & LC

The Jonard Tools® VFL-300 Kit with a rugged visual fault locator is designed for field fiber optic testing, locating fiber breakpoints, leaks, poor connections, and other faults. This laser-powered 650nm Class IIIA visual fault finder works in an OTDR dead zone and detects faults in single and multi-mode fiber up to 3 miles long. It identifies fiber from one end to another, operating in Continuous Wave (CW), Fast Pulse (9 Hz), or Slow Pulse (2-3 Hz) mode. The working temperature is from -4°F (-20°C) to +140°F (+60°C). The VFL is compatible with 2.5mm and 1.25mm connectors. It offers a long battery life of 60 hours of continuous use. With a rotatable protection sleeve, the power & mode switch button is safe from being accidently pressed.

The VFL-300 kit includes the visual fault locator, 2x AA batteries and FC/LC adapter (VFL-25125).
