Jonard FPL-5050 Power Meter & Light Source Kit, SM -50 to +26dBm

The Jonard Tools® FPL-5050 Fiber Optic Test Kit features the FPM-50A optical power meter and FLS-50 single mode light source for measuring absolute optical power and relative power loss in fiber optic cables. The light source provides stable 1310nm or 1550nm wavelengths for single mode fiber measurements. Adapters directly connect to UPC/PC FC, SC, and LC fiber connectors. The unit has 4 different modulation outputs (CW, 270 Hz, 1 kHz, 2 kHz). The intelligent OPM measures from -50 to +26 dBm 6 preset calibrated wavelengths: 850, 980, 1300, 1310, 1490, 1550, 1625 and 1650nm. It allows manual calibration and offers LCD backlight, auto-off after 10 minutes and more than 130 hours of operation. The auto-off feature can be deactivated, if required.

The FPL-5050 kit comes in a rugged nylon carry case. It includes with each unit: instruction manual, 3x AA batteries, 2 cleaning swabs, FC, SC (APC/PC/UPC) and LC (PC/UPC) adapters.
